An afternoon at a coffee shop descended into chaos, with two separate fights breaking out within moments of each other, according to readers who sent Weazel News images from inside.

The first fight: “Palestine isn’t real”

Witnesses say the trouble started when a man got into a heated verbal argument with several customers. He was reportedly shouting in Hebrew and yelling “Palestine isn’t real”, among other things, as the row escalated.

As tempers rose, he is said to have swung at a member of the Sheriff’s Department who was off duty at the time. Before it could go any further, somebody else stepped in and beat him up, leaving him on the floor.

The reader who sent the first image offered only this: “Unc got his lights turned off in a coffee shop 😂”

Moments later: a second fight over a dog

The shop had barely calmed down when a second fight kicked off. Images sent to our newsroom show a customer at the counter with his pug at his feet, standing face to face with another man.

Witnesses say the man kicked the dog in the face. The dog’s owner is said to have thrown his coffee straight into the man’s face and started swinging.

It did not last long. The man who kicked the dog ended up flat on his back on the coffee shop floor.
